Spring Essential Oils
The essential oils below are a favourite of mine all year round but with their energising and uplifting aroma, they are particularly good when you’re in the mood for bit of spring cleaning to clear out all the mental cobwebs that have accumulated throughout the winter.

Lemongrass
Aroma: fresh, lemony
Great for: de-stressing and uplifting your tired mind and body, insect repellent
Spearmint
Aroma: minty, fresh
Great for: uplifting and stimulating a tired mind, headaches
Grapefruit
Aroma: citrusy, sweet, like the scent of the grapefruit peel but more concentrated
Great for: mental exhaustion and relieving depression
Sweet Orange
Aroma: citrusy, sweet, and reminiscent of orange peels
Great for: feeling cheerful, combatting SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
Rose Geranium
Aroma: floral with a hint of Rose
Great for: relieving depression, anxiety and stress
Lime
Aroma: Citrusy, sweet, fresh, sharp citrus peel scent
Great for: energising a tired mind, relieving depression
Springtime diffuser blend
- 13 drops of Grapefruit essential oil
- 3 drops of Rose Geranium essential oil
- 2 drops of Spearmint essential oil
- 2 drops of Lime essential oil
